A Room Fit For a Tween

We finished painting circles in Corinne's room last week. It turned out pretty cute, and looks much better in person than these photos...

Corinne wants to add some "cool posters" of her choosing and we have a one more picture frame to spray paint white before we hang it...

I bleached out her curtains to match better and pinned little butterflies (from my wedding) to them. You can't really see them that well here, but they add a cute touch to the boring window...

Overall, it turned out nice; we used her favorite colors and now it looks like a 'tween's room'. My little girl is growing up!

oh so cute! word on the street is that your walls aren't as textured as ours-mine were a monster to paint-no fair!

very cute! Rory is asking to change her room... she's so much more grown up from when we moved here. She claims she doesn't like pink anymore.
Enjoy your cool room Corinne.
Totally my style as a Tween too!

It looks really cute Sherry. Is this the bedroom set that you had bought in Pocatello at a garage sale? It seemed like it was a different color?

Yep, that's the same set I bought at a yard sale 7 years ago. I haven't changed anything...only her bedspread and her room color...pretty good purchase, if I do say so myself!
